What is a Retreat? A retreat serves the body, mind and spirit by allowing time to find greater inner peace. When you find inner peace, you move the world toward peace. This is why it is vital to escape from the world’s bombardment of sounds and images and take time for the mind and heart to come to stillness. Why retreat? People go on retreat for a number of reasons that generally focus on positive personal change: Relax at a deep level Types of Retreats Retreats vary as widely as the people who go on retreat. Sites for a retreat include spas, cabins, monastery guest houses, hot springs, ashrams, zendos, bed and breakfasts, and camping areas. A retreat can also include activities like vision quests and pilgrimages. Most retreats are very quiet places that focus on contemplation, even if group sessions get rowdy. Who Can Retreat? Personal retreats are most often taken alone, because a solitary retreat allows for the greatest time for self-reflection. Group retreats often focus on classes or events, and are therefore more suitable for groups of people. Some retreat centers require that each person retreat as an individual; others allow couples and groups to share accommodations; still others separate people based on gender. Our retreat is for anyone who identifies as a woman in their daily lives.

Introducing our Staff Healer:
Energetic Bodywork Offering by Fleurette Rita
My energetic bodywork techniques are influenced with many years of holistic health studies, women’s health issues, yoga, and ‘intuitive’ training and spiritual consciousness enhancement. I am certified in massage, craniosacral, polarity, reiki with additional bodywork training, have been sharing my offering for over eight years. My bodywork vision is to creating a relaxing/integrating experience for my client using a process or style that asks for attention to the whole person rather than a summary of parts; and is a ‘shared observation’ with the client to that innate capacity of self-healing.
***************************************
What you can experience from my energetic bodywork session:
You may be fully clothed; or not if you wish to enhance your experience with comforting ‘specific’ massage. You may experience deep relaxation, or receive intuitive insight from your ‘inner healer’. I allow gentle specific touch to encourage balance within the nervous system which then radiates into the muscular, circulatory, visceral (organs), skeletal and lymphatic (immune). It can benefit such physical symptoms such as TMJ, headaches, low back (ie childbirth), emotional imbalance and much more. You may ask….what is happening? Think of it as a subtle ‘rebooting’ your hard drive (your central nervous system).
This hour-long session at a retreat special of $30/hour session can be a valued ‘in-body’ addition to help integrate your retreat experience.

Imagine a woman who believes it is right and good she is a woman.
A woman who honors her experience and tells her stories.
Who refuses to carry the sins of others within her body and life.
Imagine a woman who has acknowledged the past's influence on the present.
A woman who has walked through her past.
Who has healed into the present.
Imagine a woman who names her own gods.
A woman who imagines the divine in her image and likeness.
Who designs her own spirituality and allows it to inform her daily life.
Imagine a woman in love with her own body.
A woman who believes her body is enough, just as it is.
Who celebrates her body's rhythms and cycles as an exquisite resource.
Imagine a woman who honors the body of the Goddess in her changing body.
A woman who celebrates the accumulation of her years and her wisdom.
Who refuses to use her precious life-energy disguising the changes in her body and life.
Imagine a woman who values the women in her life.
A woman who sits in circles of women.
Who is reminded of the truth about herself when she forgets.
IMAGINE YOURSELF AS THIS WOMAN.
