A Call to a Woman's Heart
Abundance Circle
Woman am I
Primal Scream

Gaia Girls

We have two, year-long, series beginning in September 2010.  These groups are for strong, adventuresome women who want to dive deeply into themselves, lived inspired and long to heal with other women.  Once the circles are woven, the group will be closed so we can begin our healing as a sisterhood.  The circles will each open after quest in August.  If you are feeling called to these groups, come to lodge and other offerings while you are waiting.  You can meet some of these women and start your healing process now.  Life is a journey!

If you are interested in both or either of these classes please make a consultation with Jacqueline (208) 353.0604 to help you on your journey.

Here are some things to consider or perhaps you have been asking yourself:

·         I long to have a trusting relationship with other women

·         I just want to be able to be myself, not have to worry about being perfect.

·         I want to find out ‘who’ I am, what is my life’s purpose

·         I want to learn how to have a good relationship with my family

·         When I’m outdoors I can hear/feel/see things others usually don’t

·         I am drawn to certain animals and have many things that represent them

·         I want to go new places

·         I love plants and crystals

·         I want to learn to flow through life, instead of having to ‘plan’ every moment

·         I want to still my mind

·         I want or know I’m psychic and want to use these skills

·         I want to be inspired and to be an inspiration

A Call to a Woman’s Heart and Woman am I Circles

Our motto: “You have to Flow to Grow”

So below is a brief description of some of the things we will do throughout the year, but most of all we learn to ‘flow’.  We work with each others needs and energies, so things will change as they need to so we all can get what we need in the now that is, rather than sticking to a strict schedule of ‘have tos’. (we have plenty of those) So read the information below, but most of all, sit with it in your heart space.  Listen. Are you being called?

A Call to a Woman’s Heart meets twice monthly (the lodge and 2nd Saturday) and is committed to be together for the course of 13 months.  Our time together is spent outdoors, exploring the wonders of nature and magic places of Idaho (or near Idaho).  There are a few retreats offered during the course of the year (Water, Women, and Whimsy) and a culmination of energy in August in the form of a 3-day quest.  During our travels, we will also find an animal totem, learn the value of the staff, meet a healed ancestor, talk to plants, find and use crystals, visit a natural bowl and create our own, travel, laugh and grow.

“Knowing I feel the fire, I am Great Spirits’ Dream, Growing I feed the fire, I surrender to the light, I become my destiny, surrender to great mystery.”

Woman am I meets monthly on a First Friday evening of the month and will often last into the night.  We will be working with the power of women, which is the moon and dark.  We will explore our matrilineal linage and find our ‘magic’ self.  We will do some traveling, spending time outdoors.  This group is a woven circle and will commit to being together for 13 moons.  This group will also be invited to the retreats and have the option of weaving their teaching deeper with a 3-day quest in August.  New women may join after quest each year.

“Woman am I, Spirit am I, I hold the infinite in my soul, I have no beginning and I have no end …all this I am!”

Women’s Healing/Teaching Lodges are held each 2nd Thursday of the month @ 7p.m.
Each month women join together in the sacred hoop of sisterhood. Which means, for this time, they come together in a space of unconditional love.  They give themselves and each other permission to be exactly who they are...warts and all.   All conditioning and dogma is left at the door as we find our authentic selves.  Release of the mind, detox of the body and rejuvenation of the soul occur in the arms of Grandmother Willow.  For some the experience of the sweat lodge is a once in a lifetime experience, for others their first journey into a world of unlimited potential…. Yours… well come and see!  The lodge is held by Antelope Medicine Woman, initiated Shaman and Lodge Keeper, with teachings rooted in the Tao.  Each month’s focus is determined by the women who come to participate.

Sacred Sweat Lodge*

A very ancient ritual practiced in different forms by indigenous peoples in all areas of the world, the sacred or ceremonial sweat lodge is available today as an opportunity for release, reconnection, relaxation, and renewal of body, mind and spirit.

Through singing and drumming around the fire, one connects with the energies and the elements of the natural world. With sacred smudge, one is blessed, cleansed and protected. Kneeling and entering the woven willow lodge, one bows and speaks a word of gratitude to earth mother and all the helpful energies of nature present in this sacred place. Sitting upon the earth, singing as each participant joins the circle, and as the rocks are brought in, time begins to stand still.

Blessed water over heated rocks creates a loving enclosure of steam and heat. Through three or four rounds, as sweat pours from the body, toxins, worries and fears are released and transformed. Gradually, the endless chatter of busy minds and over-extended brains slows down and dissipates. With the gift of silence one can begin to hear the quiet voice within, a voice which gently, lovingly speaks the Truths of Spirit – that we are all the beloved children of the Great Spirit Beingness and that love, joy, peace, light and abundant, enthusiastic life are freely available to each one of us. Soon the breath opens up and the heart is full of light. Now joy and love can break free, no longer boxed in by daily routines and the complexity and stress of modern life.

Emerging from the lodge after a round of thanksgiving, it is as if one is reborn. There is time to rest, to breathe with earth and sky and the feelings of health and vitality that now course through the body. Celebrating the abundance of all life, a potluck meal is shared. This completes the lodge experience as once more in a sacred circle, all join hands to bless both the food and those who contributed to bringing it to the table.

Community lodges may provide an opportunity to re-establish connection with your own guides and helpers; angels, animal totems, ancestors or masters.  If interested specifically in a journey lodge, contact Jacqueline Kennedy, 208.353.0604, for availability and price of private or personal lodges.

A Soulful Cure, Working With A Shaman*

Since time immemorial, certain men and women have felt called to heal the sick, to safeguard knowledge, to guide the lost, and to commune with the spirit world. These unique individuals, known as shamans, were mystics and seers, repositories of wisdom, and keepers of herbal lore. During those periods when ignorance loomed large in the world, shamans across the globe bided their time, peacefully practicing their practical yet refined arts in the jungle, mountains, deserts, and tundra that protected them from those who misunderstood shamanism. Today, however, shamanism has reemerged, as modern men and women feel the same call to service that their ancestors felt long ago. Also, as more individuals explore the notion that healing necessarily involves the soul as well as the physical self, people are consulting shamans in their search for wellness, wisdom, and guidance.

The word shaman literally means "he or she who knows”. Shamanism is an art that has not changed in any quantifiable way for millennia and is not bound to any particular form of spirituality. It is grounded on the principle that the visible world is saturated with unseen forces that influence the lives of human beings. Shamans, in addition to acting as fonts of wisdom, are dedicated to diagnosing and curing human suffering-whether emotional, physical, or spiritual. To treat an illness, a shaman may communicate with the spirit world in order to connect more directly with the soul of their patient or with the force causing ill health. They often work closely with animal guides, plant and earth spirits, or your spirit guides, and may make use of use of herbal remedies to supplement other forms of treatment.  Shamans, as intermediaries between the physical and spiritual realms, recognize that all objects are in manner alive and retain information that can be utilized to heal.

Shamanism is powerful in part because its practitioners tailor healing to the individual needs of those who seek them out. A shaman manipulates energy, giving you, power where you have lost it and removing misplaced energy lurking within you. When you seek out a shaman, they will endeavor to know and understand you before treating you. In this way, they can provide you with therapies that act on your whole being, positively influencing your body as well as your soul.

Open Circles (no commitment required)

Circle of Abundance
1st Moneyday of the month (see home page for hostess of the month)

Each month we meet somewhere we would like to create abundance,  your home, business, a favorite place in nature.  We take turns leading the abundance ceremony and sharing our gifts of creating abundance.  We support each other in our creation of abundance, amplifying our outcome.  It is simple, fun and a great way to meet new people.

Please bring a donation of something you’d like to see multiply
for the Good of our community … it doesn’t need to be a lot, but do
consider what in your life you can give to ignite a new flow of receiving.

We will explore how “Abundance” is showing up in our lives
& how we can OPEN to more limitless flow.

We will also ACTIVATE a flow of collective giving
by pooling all monetary donations for
a group-selected service ‘project’
(this may be a local individual or organization)

Come prepared to Create Miracles together.

“You say, “I would give, but only to the deserving.”
The trees in your orchard say not so, nor the flocks in your pastures.
They give that they may live, for to withhold is to perish.” –Kahlil Gibran

Transformative Workshops

Primal Scream Therapy
Learn to release deep-seeded traumas and pain. How to release the unconscious from a cellular level. We learn to Recognize, Respect, Release, and Replace these energies.   Healing the past will bring about healthier relationships with others and with ourselves.

Painful things happen to nearly all of us early in life that get imprinted in all our systems which carry the memory forward making our lives miserable. It is the cause of depression, phobias, panic and anxiety attacks and a whole host of symptoms that add to the misery. We have found a way into those early emotional archives and have learned to have access to those memories, to dredge them up from the unconscious, allowing us to re-experience them in the present, integrate them and no longer be driven by the unconscious. For the first time in the history of psychology there is a way to access feelings, hidden away, in a safe way and thus to reduce human suffering. It is, in essence, the first science of psychotherapy.

This day course tuition is $95

Inspiration

In the beginning, Woman was….

                        Creatrix

                        Mother

                        Lover

                        Hearth Keeper

                        Sister

                        Healer

She …
The Weaver

            Of Life

                                    Of Death

                                    Of Blood

                                    Of Bones

She held the fierce passion of the Fires

the soothing healing of the Waters

the cleansing kiss of the Airs

the Womb as her connection to all Life

Her only Surrender was to the Life Force that pulsed through her

Change came as change does and Woman gave away her power, her magic, her gifts..

Broken ~ She forgot herself, her sisters, her children, her responsibility

Our world is failing and we have failed our world.

HOPE  has survived

Listen, the Ancient Mother is calling, waking us to claim our power, honor our blood, to nurture our children, to love our sisters, and to take our place with our men.

From the Broken

                                                                        From the Ash

                                                                                    From the Ancient Memories

We Create again and CLAIM:  I am WOMBan in ALL her Spender! ~   I will take responsibility!

                                                I am Creatrix

                                                I am Mother

                                                I am Hearth Keeper

                                                I am Sister

                                                I am Lover

I am the Earth and the Moon

And I will take you by the hand, my Sister, into my heart, and offer you all that I am, so you may remember.

And TOGETHER, We claim INTEGRITY and RESPECT of all WOMEN!  CHI HO!

10 Imperatives for a Liberated Woman

By the women of EnlightenNext

Adapted from  What Is Enlightenment? Issue 37

1. Holding an Evolutionary Perspective

She strives to live in the knowledge that the creative intelligence that gave birth to the universe is not separate from her true self. She knows that all of the ways that she is conditioned—biologically, socially, and psychologically—are not personal to her, but are part and parcel of a universal developmental process.

2. Trusting in Life

Through letting go of her need to control over and over again, she has discovered the empty Ground of Being that lies at the depth of her self. This profound experience of liberation frees her at the deepest level. As a result, she is at ease, manifesting an undefended innocence, dignity, and independence of spirit.

3. Taking Responsibility for Evolution

Knowing that the entire developmental process is One, she endeavors to take full responsibility for evolving her own consciousness, realizing that her development moves the leading edge forward for all womankind.

4. Realizing Unity with Other Women

She relaxes more and more into a unity with other women as she refuses to act out of the nearly universal compulsion for women to separate from and compete with each other. She doesn’t deny that this compulsion, which has been key to women’s survival in the past, operates in her psyche, nor is she afraid or ashamed of it, but she works to keep her focus on evolving women’s relationships through trust, transparency, and a passion to create the future.

5. Being Emotionally Rational

Despite how overwhelming any emotional experience may be, she strives for objectivity and aspires to liberate her power of choice so that she is no longer trapped by fears and desires rooted in her biological and cultural conditioning. She is developing the emotional maturity to not dis-integrate and give in to ancient survival impulses when she finds herself under pressure.

6. Standing Autonomously and Not Wavering

Rather than gauging her responses by what she thinks others want and need, she is cultivating a radical autonomy, grounded in her longing for liberation and her passion for the evolution of consciousness. She increasingly finds manipulative game-playing distasteful, and craves being simple, straight, and clear in her relationships with others.

7. Relinquishing Sexual Power

She is awake to how deeply identified she is with her sexual power and how instinctive it is to use it to get what she wants. Aspiring to drop this fundamental identification, she finds that sexual relationships become more straightforward and less of a priority and marker of personal success. The more she succeeds in this aspiration, the more she discovers a profound intimacy with others that is not related to sexuality at all.

8. Leading by Example

Dropping the many masks of pretense and self-image, she strives for a rare vulnerability and authenticity that is not emotional but comes from being unafraid of the impulses and motivations that drive women. She is discovering a deep confidence that is not edged with hardness but founded in transparency and humility. She is willing to step forward and be a pioneer, and does not abuse the power that comes with leadership.

9. Being Trustworthy

Resisting the temptation to be dishonest or inauthentic under scrutiny, she desires to act with integrity so that her word is her deed. She aspires to be consistently true to a higher purpose no matter what personal challenges she faces.

10. Rejecting Victimhood

Regardless of anything that has happened in the past, she refuses to be a "victim." She seeks to take full responsibility for her own choices, past and present. Today, she stands side by side with men as an equal cocreator of an enlightened future.

Imagine a woman who believes it is right and good she is a woman.
A woman who honors her experience and tells her stories.
Who refuses to carry the sins of others within her body and life.

Imagine a woman who has acknowledged the past's influence on the present.
A woman who has walked through her past.
Who has healed into the present.

Imagine a woman who names her own gods.
A woman who imagines the divine in her image and likeness.
Who designs her own spirituality and allows it to inform her daily life.

Imagine a woman in love with her own body.
A woman who believes her body is enough, just as it is.
Who celebrates her body's rhythms and cycles as an exquisite resource.

Imagine a woman who honors the body of the Goddess in her changing body.
A woman who celebrates the accumulation of her years and her wisdom.
Who refuses to use her precious life-energy disguising the changes in her body and life.

Imagine a woman who values the women in her life.
A woman who sits in circles of women.
Who is reminded of the truth about herself when she forgets.

IMAGINE YOURSELF AS THIS WOMAN.
